If pre-orders are any sign of a game's popularity (and we obviously know they are), then Halo: Reach is destined to be one of the most popular games released in years. We're basing this on the new pre-order numbers which show that Halo: Reach is closing in on 1.5 million units pre-ordered. Anytime a game has sold 1.5 million games before launching, it's going to be a certified hit. Shooters dominate the listing for pre-ordered titles with a few exceptions.
